The island’s fitness service has renewed its calls for members of the public to “choose wisely” when it comes to taking care of their fitness.
Noble Hospital is operating under maximum pressure and has issued an OPEL alert four due to the large number of patients in very poor health requiring immediate treatment.
Manx Care Executive Director Teresa Cope said:
“I would like to thank all the members of the public who continued to help us choose well and attend the most suitable fitness service for their clinical needs during the holiday season, especially in the last two hours when we started operating at OPEL four. state.
“This message remains in position although please continue to attend to the maximum service adequate to meet your needs, as it is vital that we relieve Noble of the strain as much as possible, especially at this time.
“Ramsey’s Minor Injury and Illness Unit (MIU) can offer an X-ray service today and between 9 a. m. m. y and 5 p. m. , and can provide assistance for a wide variety of fitness issues.
“We have noticed a sharp increase in the number of other people at the Ramsey site and I am very grateful to everyone who has done so, thank you. “
