A man has died after being hit by a ute on Sydney’s M2 motorway.
Emergency services were called to the crash site near the Beecroft Road exit at Epping at about 9.30 on Monday morning.
Police believe the man was trying to retrieve something off the road when he was hit by an oncoming white Mazda utility.

The man, who is believed to be aged in his 30s, was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics.
He was transported to Royal North Shore Hospital in a critical condition before he passed away in the hospital.
