The victim, known to police as Arfan Butt of 73rd Street, sat on the Beemer when two men fired a firearm.
“He shot three times in the torso,” said a New York police spokesman. Suspects fled the site in a Mercedes Benz in an unknown direction.

The Dyker Heights tragedy comes a week after Zaid Zindani of Brooklyn, 31, was shot deadly in the face and neck while sitting behind the wheel of a flashy Maserati on 63rd Street near 17th Avenue in Bensonhurst.

Zindani was shot in front of her friends, one of whom received the wheel in a failed attempt to save her boyfriend’s life, police said.
The passenger went to the 66th District Police Station, where the police called the doctors and Zindani rushed to the Maimonides Medical Center, where he died shortly afterwards.
