Mission Creek Mountain Bike Skills Park Regional Park will be maintained on Wednesday.
As a result, the park will be closed.
The city of Kelowna says it will update the irrigation formula on site to allow more trees to be planted in the area.
The paintings will be staggered and limited to express jumping lines, one at a time, according to a press release.
While the park will remain open to cyclists, the city asks users to respect the displayed signage and stay away from jump lines and enclosed spaces for the protection of users and paint equipment.
The paintings are expected to be completed until next Monday.
Parking will also be limited due to an accumulation in the number of car maintenance paints.
