Luxury 2024 Mercedes-Benz E 450 Driver Test

I drive between 50 and one hundred other cars in a certain year. Not always, however, each and one occasionally, I find a specimen so intelligent that I do not need to return after my check unit. Trapped in my memories as a first kiss, and I miss it when it comes out of my entrance path. More recently, the Mercedes-Benz E 450 that car.

Complete with a 48-volt mild hybrid system, a powerful straight-six engine, and all-wheel drive, the E 450 is a refined luxury sedan with all the right moves. Here are 5 of my favorite attributes of the Mercedes-Benz E 450:

It’s not often that people put the words “Mercedes-Benz” and “value” in the same sentence. It’s typically not a top trait of the German brand’s vehicles. However, with a starting price of $69,250, I’d put this luxury car up against any other in its class and it would come out on top for best bang for the buck. It has better styling than rivals like the Audi A7 and the Volvo S90, and packs in a lot of features into the standard model.

Under the E 4Five0 hood there is a smart six-year silky line for 37 civas HP and 369 lb-ft of torque. The slight hybrid configuration of 48 volts can give it a comfortable blow that can supply 23 HP and 148 lb-fT of an additional increase, which fulfills the difference for the prevention / starting system. Compare this with the BMW Five series and get a configuration and statistics almost almost. In the end, the E 4Five0 gives a driving that expects from Mercedes-Benz, because it exceeds the standard.

As Edmunds loves, the Mercedes-Benz E 450 cabin is perfectly quiet. Internal fabrics and high quality insulators make a difference, as well as the impeccable structure; Mercedes-Benz is proud of its detail-oriented structure processes, as they are.

“It’s super quiet inside the E 450, too; we measured an ambient noise level of 62.6 decibels at 70 mph — that’s even quieter than the far more expensive BMW 760i,” Edmunds’ Steven Ewing said in March 2024.

Slide behind the wheel or into one of the E 450’s superlative passenger seats and you’ll be comfortable and satisfied, especially if you add the seating package for massage, heating, and ventilation. With that package, you’ll also get air purification and heated front arm rests, a luxury you won’t realize you need until you have it. For either short trips to the store or long, leisurely road trips the E 450 is made to coddle you.

Mercedes-Benz is quite shrewd when it comes to creating value-add feature packages. For 2024, the Pinnacle Trim adds a 17-speaker Burmester audio system with Dolby Atmos with a noise-reducing windshield, ambient lighting, and a head-up display. The driver assistance package comes with just about everything you can think of on the safety side, like front cross-traffic alert, blind-spot warning, and adaptive cruise control. If you ride on roads in Michigan after a salty, snowy winter you’ll want the optional adaptive suspension. And that’s just a sampling of the amenities Mercedes-Benz offers in the E 450.
