Lotus has announced the opening of a new complex generation center at the University of Warwick.

The company said Lotus Engineering, Lotus’ consulting division, will be based on the new site.

Located on the Wellesbourne campus of the University of Warwick, the new facility was established in partnership with WMG at the University of Warwick. WMG is a foreign leader in the successful collaboration between university research, teaching, education and industry. The truly extensive facility includes offices, workshops and a laboratory area with many expansion opportunities.

Initially, engineers will move out, completing the 500-person engineering team at Lotus Cars’ home in Hethel, Norfolk.
