Car racer Listers will open a new Volvo in Worcester next month, following a multi-million pound redevelopment project.
Currently, the brokerage company runs its Volvo operations in the city from Hereford Road, Much Cowarne, which opened in 2017.
However, the Top One Hundred Car Dealer Corporation is now moving its business to a new facility on Bromyard Road, which was once home to an Issuu franchise.
The refurbishment will feature a sumptuous visitor lounge area, complemented by sublime Scandinavian furnishings. Visitors will also enjoy free Wi-Fi and free Swedish pastries while their car is being repaired.
The showroom itself will showcase the latest diversity of new Volvo models, as well as used cars, the Volvo Selekt Approved Used program.
Elsewhere, 14 charging stations for electric vehicles will be equipped, as the Swedish logo continues its commitment to an eco-friendly car.
David Westwood, sales manager at Listers Volvo Worcester, said: “We are very pleased that paints are underway in our new logo showroom as we prepare for its opening in April.
“This is a vital investment for us and we are incredibly proud of Volvo’s sustainability project through our carefully designed showroom.
“We have put a lot of effort into creating the ideal space where visitors can feel relaxed, while incorporating the latest eco-responsible generation to make us as sustainable as possible.
“We look forward to welcoming new and existing consumers to our future-proof home to talk about their automotive desires when we open our doors next month. “
