If, like me, you have no idea that Lexus cars are incredibly well designed, incredibly refined, incredibly durable and incredibly unemotional, the new Lexus LC500 Cabriolet 2021 will surprise you both in your hair and your mind. Of course, if you pay attention, you know that the LC500 Cabriolet is not the first Lexus to demonstrate and arouse a genuine emotion in the drivers and spectators component. In recent years, this luxury logo has a higher coefficient of hobby in its diversity of models, being the LC500 coupe the zenith of Lexus’s incursion into zeal, until now.

These efforts result in a giant luxury convertible, not especially soft (4500 pounds), capable of agile and self-safe handling when driving from a docile cruiser to a smart sports car. Multiple driving modes allow the driving force of the LC500 convertible to increase throttle guidance and throttle response, while adjustable suspension reduces roll. Popular 20-inch tires can be upgraded to 21 inches, as in our control car, to increase agility without a noticeable effect on ride quality.
And then there’s the maximum pleasant looking feature of the LC500: a 5.0-liter atmospheric aluminum V8 engine, which provides 471 horsepower and 398 pound-feet of torque. This engine would be an excitation in any vehicle, but on the LC500 convertible, with maximum downward sensitivity and ‘S’ driving mode functionality activated, the V8 gives a quick push with every throttle stroke. Transmitting force to the rear wheels via a 10-speed automatic transmission with shift cams, the Lexus LC500 Convertible goes from 0 to 60 mph in 4.6 seconds and offers a maximum sensitive speed of 168 mph.
As impressive as those numbers appear on paper (or on screen), they can’t convey the excitement caused by the V8’s guttural rumor, followed by a series of “POPS”! Expressive! double exhaust tips when lifting the throttle. Are we still having an experience? Yes, we are. How about the passionate quest for the perfect? Yes.
As for the coupe, the Lexus LC500 Cabriolet 2021 is a small front domain with narrow headlights before sinking into its long hood/short bridge ratios. The shape of the rocket grille resonates on the rear panel of the convertible, among the narrow taillights that assign a powerful, almost surreal red glow. The LC500 convertible features competitive cupé rear sides that make the car look wider at the rear (this is just an illusion; the front and rear wheel tracks are identical).
The main difference of the convertible, of course, is a condom that folds and retracts automatically under a box canopy in 15 moments (at speeds up to 31 mph). The popular features of each LC500 2021 convertible come with a 10.3-inch multimedia demo with support for Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and Amazon Alexa. There is also a 12-speaker audio formula that automatically adjusts sound quality to the most sensitive or lower electrically adjusted front seats in 10 directions, an 8-inch virtual multi-information demonstration in the indicator group, and a keyless entry with a yetton push start. Lexus continues to use a mouse interface with a touchpad in the center console. We do not know if the formula is improving or getting used to, however it worked well today with the LC500 convertible, offering an effective and undeniable interface when it comes to setting up navigation, phone and audio.
The Lexus LC500 Cabriolet 2021 is priced at $102,025, adding delivery rates. From there, the value increases if you load any of the feature packs that will be taken or separate features. The most beloved edition of the LC500 convertible is the Inspiration series, of which only one hundred will be manufactured. All models of the Lexus LC500 2021 Convertible Inspiration Series are painted structural blue with Amalfi, while the interiors are upholstered with semi-aniline leather under a military hood. They also come with popular 21-inch wheels, a limited slip differential and stepped rear suspension adjustment.
The interior of the Inspiration series comes with carbon fiber plates on doorsteps, a standard license plate on the door post, front headrests with the embossed Lexus logo, the Climate Concierge formula, a Mark Levinson audio formula with thirteen 918 watt speakers, plus a set of tradition suitcases These models also come with a heated guide wheel , a windshield wiper defogging and a SmartAccess card that replaces the classic keychain.
Between the base style and the Inspiration series there are independents, such as 20-inch dark graphite wheels ($1210), 21-inch forged wheels ($2650), a front demonstration ($900), a limited slip differential with suspension damper enhancements ($460), Audio Mark Levinson ($1220), high-end paint ($595) and carbon fiber cover plates ($600).
