Lewis Hamilton stores Ferrari’s first message after Maranello arrived

Lewis Hamilton has shared his first message after arriving in Maranello to begin arrangements for his first season as Ferrari’s driving force in F1 2025.

Hamilton announced almost a year ago that he had to register in Ferrari in a contract of several years F1 2025, ending his length and a successful agreement with Mercedes.

Following a short winter break, during which he celebrated his 40th birthday, Hamilton arrived at Ferrari’s Maranello factory on Monday morning to link up with his new team.

And in an article on Instagram, an adequate Hamilton shared a symbol of himself posing the workplace once used through the founder of the Enzo Ferrari team in Maranello.

He wrote: “A few days ago, when you know you will not forget it and today, the first as a Ferrari driver, is one of those days.

“I was lucky to have done things in my career that I never have possible idea, but the component of me has maintained this dream of sleep in red.

“I couldn’t be happier to realize this dream today.

“Today we begin a new era in the history of this iconic team, and I can’t wait to see what history we will write together. “

The first day of Hamilton in Ferrari comes with paintings and engineering meetings of the simulator, which will see it attached with the new racing engineer Riccardo Adami.

Planetf1. com revealed last year that former race engineer Peter Bonnington would follow him from Mercedes to Ferrari, after being promoted to a new role in the Brackley headquarters.

Hamilton is instead poised to work alongside Adami, who previously served as race engineer to his predecessors Carlos Sainz and four-time World Champion Sebastian Vettel.

Hamilton is set to take to the track for the first time as a Ferrari motive force later this week, with a race on the wheel of the 2022 F1-75 car scheduled at the team’s Fiorano check track.

Ferrari have traditionally held a so-called wake-up test at Fiorano in January, targeted at getting team and drivers back up to speed ahead of official winter  running.

Hamilton’s pre-season calendar takes him to the Barcelona-Catalunya circuit, the home of the Spanish F1 F1 Grand Prix, for a personal cheque moment next week.

Ferrari’s F1 2025 car, codenamed Project 677, will be launched on February 19, one day after F1’s first-ever collective season-launch event involving all 10 teams in London.

A three-day pre-season test will then be held in Bahrain on February 26-28 before the F1 2025 season commences with the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne on March 16.
