After spending the start of the year focused on Ferrari, Eddie Jordan believes Lewis Hamilton is “back on his game” and that’s wonderful news for his 2025 team.
Hamilton took his second win of the season last time out at the Belgian Grand Prix, inheriting the victory when teammate George Russell was disqualified for a technical infringement.
Crossing the checkered flag six-tenths ahead of his teammate, whose car weighed 1. 5 kilograms less, Hamilton took victory and took his record to 105.
Two races earlier, the seven-time world champion had broken his 56-race winless streak to win the British Grand Prix and admitted that pole position had done much to address his own doubts.
“There are so many moments when you feel like your most productive shot is smart enough,” he told the media at Silverstone, adding PlanetF1. com.
“And the sadness that you can feel, you know, and we live in a time where intellectual aptitude is a very serious problem. And I’m not going to lie, I’ve been there.
“And there were definitely times where, you know, the idea that this was it, that this would never happen again. So, to get that feeling, I think honestly, I’ve never cried after a win. It just came out of me. And it’s a wonderful feeling. I’m very, very grateful for that.

After taking his tally for the season to two wins and four podiums, former F1 driver David Coulthard believes Hamilton is back to his best.
