Mahindra has revealed the official call for the Y400 SUV to be released in India against Toyota Fortuner and Ford Endeavour: Heights G4, a renowned state-of-the-art SsangYong Rexton, which was also featured at Auto Expo 2018.announced that production of the Y400 would begin at the time of 2018 and we expected the launch to take place in November.
Mahindra has opened reserves for the G4 Heights, which will be powered by a 4-cylinder, 2.2-liter diesel engine that produces about 180 hp of strength and 420 Nm of torque (specifications of the Rexon readgé that Mahindra presented at the Auto Expo 2018).The engine is coupled to an original 7-speed Mercedes-Benz automatic transmission and will come with a manual.
Although Mahindra has not yet revealed the official specifications of the G4 Heights, we expect the dimensions to be the same as those of the Rexton, as the only major replacement on the outside is the grille, which now comprises the Mahindra logo.instead of SsangYong.Dimensionally, the frame of the SsangYong Rexton G4 chassis is wider than the Fortuner and longer than the Toyota SUV. Its total height is 1825 mm, which makes it shorter than the Fortuner.
The automaker announced that the value would exceed Rs 30 lakh (former showroom).At this value, the G4 Heights will compete with the Toyota Fortuner, Ford Endeavor and Isuzu mu-X.The Skoda Kodiaq and Honda CR-V are the other 3 rows.The SUVs were sold for about 30 lakh rupees, however, those two SUVs are monohestrated.
