Formula 1’s first technical artist Giorgio Piola has introduced a Kickstarter crusade to offer enthusiasts a direct customer opportunity that makes this collectible watch more exclusive gifts.
Piola, who has attended more major awards than in history, has presented his new line of watches, the SPEEDTRAP collection, with limited effort, presented for the first time through the crowdfunding kickstarter site.
Throughout the campaign, you can buy a Piola SPEEDTRAP watch from $400, which is a song for an exclusive piece and in the story inspired by F1.
Piola SPEEDTRAP’s designs feature softly interchangeable silicone straps, bezel tachometers and five different colors, with a technical representation of Piola engraved on the back of the case. The watches are animated through a high-precision Swiss movement, assembled in Switzerland and proudly display the words “Swiss Made” on their faces.
The modified Ronda 5040.D chronograph measures tenths of moments, moments and minutes, and a date and time. The glass is damage resistant sapphire with anti-reflective coating and the housing is made of 316L surgical grade stainless metal.
The Speedtrap collection will be available in black, blue, green, red and yellow, while the watch case is forty-five mm wide and 14.6 mm thick. Each watch will also come with two more bracelets that can be seamlessly exchanged at any time to keep this look fresh.
Their commitment will make this exciting task a reality, and taxpayers will not only have special discounts on long-term retail prizes, but will also be rewarded with exclusive Formula 1-inspired gifts that will complement the watch to perfection.
“There are many parallels between global motorsport and the world watch company. Both have to do with mechanics, functionality and beauty,” Piola said.
“My career in Formula One and my love of me looks at me to translate the racing hobby into a clock.
“I need to give my enthusiasts and all motorsport enthusiasts the opportunity to have a watch that reflects the precision, excitement and good looks that has made them Formula One enthusiasts.”
