Abbate and Felix responded to a call from the driver who was sleeping on D Street and left at 3:23 a. m. m. The accident occurred a minute later, while the two men were outside their car, on the left side of the parked vehicle. the metro police said in the document.

Pacheco charged with driving while intoxicated. He is due to appear in court in January.
Williams faces two felony counts each of DUI resulting in death, reckless driving resulting in death, and failing to stop at the scene of a crash. He also was charged with three traffic-related misdemeanors.
