Lamborghini has a new logo, but the differences are yet to be detected

Lamborghini is getting its first update in more than two decades.

As part of an effort to revamp the Italian automaker’s overall identity, the new logo retains the familiar Lamborghini bull and script, but in a simplified form.

The new logo will be used on long-running Lamborghini cars, but the automaker will also use the shieldless bull for “digital touchpoints,” like its website, the company announced Thursday.

Lamborghini is also introducing a new typeface for corporate communications, with a sans-serif design that the automaker says is reflected in the “unmistakable lines and angularity” of its cars.

Lamborghini logo revised: March 2024

Several other automakers have recently updated their logos. Porsche has unveiled a new edition of its logo in 2023, redesigned with virtual media in mind. Ford has quietly brought a stripped-down edition of its logo on the 2024 F-150. Buick, Nissan, and Volkswagen have also recently announced revised logos. As with Lamborghini, those redesigns focused heavily on simplifying the familiar logos, rather than converting them entirely.

Lamborghini hasn’t said when its new logo will start appearing on new vehicles, but the automaker’s ongoing lineup refresh will provide several opportunities to show it off. A plug-in hybrid successor to the Huracán is expected to arrive later this year. , followed up with an updated edition of the Urus that is expected to use a similar plug-in hybrid powertrain.

Plug-in hybrids will be followed in 2028 by Lamborghini’s first vehicle, a GT previewed through the Launcher concept that debuted at Monterey Car Week 2023. An SUV is also planned for 2029.
