KTM launch updated 790 Duke naked for 2025 with new TFT dash and electronics Demo Mode

The KTM 790 Duke has been updated by 2025, the dual parallel engine LC8C 799CC LC8C is now changed to meet the strictest Euro5 + conditions.

Now priced at £7999 and available from dealers from the end of January, the naked bike comes with a four-year manufacturer warranty (up from two years) and is available in two new colour designs with a choice of orange or black bodywork.

Power sits at a claimed 93.7bhp at 8000rpm, meaning it can be restricted to meet an A2 licence, and the bike now gains a new five-inch TFT dash reminiscent of some larger, previous generation 1290 V-twin models.

The inclusion of the demo provides passengers with access to the brand’s debatable “demo mode”, which unlocks all the optional tech extras for the first 1500km, before turning them off for consumers who would like to pay and stay and stay.

On top of this, the Duke comes with a six-stage anti-wheelie system, with backlit switchgear also helping to navigate the onboard menus.

As expected in a trendy KTM, 3 riding modes are also with more customizable functionality settings. As before, the motorcycle remains built in China through KTM partners CFMoto, a resolution set for 2023.

Like the newer-generation Duke, the new 790 is suspended via Apex WP suspension at either end, with a manageable 825mm seat that pleases new and experienced riders.

It’s in a position to take on rivals, adding the recently revised Yamaha MT-07, the Suzuki GSX-8 and the new Hornet Honda CB750 Hornet.
