KTM to start building 2025 MotoGP motorcycles next week

“From then on the bikes are on the road for a long time. The vehicles will only arrive in Munderfing again for the European season opener in Jerez.”

There have already been rumors that KTM will pull any progression on its 2025 bike due to its existing currency crisis.

While Felber continues to admit it, he points out that the prototype of 2025 “worked as expected” tests last year and “was defined” as the fundamental bicycle.

“Obviously we’re talking about an evolving style in 2025,” he added.

“There is no consultation to adopt a new radical approach. We already had our genuine Shakedown in the last tests in 2024.

“The 2025 version worked as hoped and the basis has been defined. The plan now is to build all machines accordingly with new parts.

“There are differences in ergonomics, which are others for all cyclists, as in the responses to function the rear brake.

“We can also take over some existing parts with low mileage. It doesn’t make sense to throw away a handlebar stub that is only a few kilometres.”
