Pilsen (30/7/2020) – Pilsen’s steam turbine manufacturer will stock two 50 MW steam turbines, adding other equipment and additional generation, for one of Indonesia’s most modern power plants. The mapping site is located in a seismically active domain and, in the execution, Doosan Koda Power used its rich delight in similar assignments that it had installed in the past in Indonesia, Chile and Saudi Arabia. On-site deliveries will be held in mid-2021 and will be followed through meeting paintings under the supervision of Doosan Koda Power experts. The first steam is expected to be invited to the turbines by 2023.

The Palu 3 power plant will be one of Indonesia’s most complex technologies. Fluidized circulation bed boilers were selected as a steam source. They are designed to achieve maximum fuel combustion power and will componently reduce nitrogen oxide and sulfur emissions. The new boilers will be installed in a block with two DST-G20 50 MW steam turbines with accessories. In addition to supplying steam turbines, Doosan Koda Power supplies a synchronous generator, oil formula, formula and other equipment, adding a turbine base design and coordination of the applicable project component.

“Construction and design work has been underway since February 2020. The steam turbine design includes a reserve through which the output force can accumulate up to 64.5 MW, which can increase the application price of the generation in the future,” he says. Markéta Leitlov, assignment manager at Doosan Koda Power. Pilsen is working with parent company Doosan Heavy Industries – Construction Co., Ltd. on assignment. The end user of the new plant will be the indonesian government-owned electric power company PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (Persero).
