North Korean leader Kim Jong-un sent medicine and others to flood-affected dominance in North Hwanghae province, reported state media Monday.
Residents earned them “with applause and cheers,” official Rodong Sinmun said.
Kim traveled to the domain on August 7, emerging from a new Lexus logo, to see the devastation on her own. At the time, he unusually ordered that the army grain and its own special stocks be donated to flood victims.
Meanwhile, high-ranking North Koreans have pledged to complete all the paintings to repair flood damage until October 10, the anniversary of the Workers’ Party.
