Kia EV5 GT Leaks Sport Electric SUV Design

A new electric SUV from Kia gets the GT treatment. Images from China give us a first look at the Kia EV5 GT version.

Kia officially unveiled the EV5, its new compact electric SUV, at the Chengdu Motor Show in August. Billed as a family SUV, the EV5 features Kia’s new “Opposites United” design.

You can see several taken from Kia’s larger EV9, such as the redesigned “Tiger Face” grille, which replaces the signature “Tiger Nose. “It retains the boxy, rugged look of the EV9, but in a smaller package.

Aimed at millennials, Kia designed the interior for much more than just getting from point A to point B. Kia saw it as an extra “space” to get into.

It also includes Kia’s next-generation Connected Automotive Navigation Cockpit (ccNC) with dual 12. 3-inch demo screens and a 5-inch weather display.
