HONESDALE, Pa. , March 19, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Jim Donnelly, President and Chief Executive Officer of Wayne Bank, has announced the appointment of Joseph W. Adams to serve as Senior Vice President and Head of Investment Services and Wealth Management at Wayne Bank.

Adams Maximum most recently served as a director of Norwood Financial Corp and Wayne Bank, and resigned from that position at the March 19, 2024, board meeting.

In his new role, Adams will lead the bank’s equity control and work with the facilities branch and Norwood Investment Corp.

Adams holds a B. S. in Economics and Finance and an MBA in Accounting and Finance from the University of Scranton. She is a graduate of Pace University’s Financial Planning Certificate Program.

Adams is an organizer for the Emergency Food Assistance Program, which has raised more than $400,000 in donations to feed 1,600 local families. He is president and board member of the Human Resources Center for 30 years and a founding member of the Fall Music Festival and the Kelly Lalley Fund. He is a member of the Honesdale Lions Club, the COAL Foundation and Hawley’s Bingham Park Renewal Committee, as well as a board member of the NEPA Alliance, the Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce, the Wayne County Family Center and the Wayne County Library.
