The statement explained that in Halewood, the DHL contract would be assumed through another company. This replacement will come into effect from April next year. The Employment Protection Enterprises (TUPE) measure will apply to all affected painters and suppliers will now work together to manage this procedure”.

Reacting to this news, a spokesperson for DHL Supply Chain said: “Following a review of its business practices, JLR has demonstrated its aim to move its operations in Halewood, Solihull and Castle Bromwich to select suppliers with immediate effect. from April 1, 2025.
“The staff involved have been informed of the scenario and will soon begin consultations with corporate and union representatives to discuss the switch to new suppliers under the TUPE regulation. DHL will continue to supply facilities to JLR’s Logistics Operations Center (LoC) and cargo services. .
