The driving force of a Jeep Liberty is in critical condition at the University of Jersey Shore Medical Center after being ejected from its vehicle in a two-car crash in Lakehurst on Thursday.
Lakehurst police said rescue measures were taken on the driving force of the jeep, which was then evacuated to the hospital.
Officers responded at approximately 12:55 p. m. on Thursday at the intersection of Highway 70 and Highway 547 by a turn of the destination of a motor vehicle and, once at the scene, saw that the Jeep had suffered significant damage and rested in the middle of the westbound lane of Highway 70.
A BMW also suffered significant injuries at the place of the turn of the destination and police said it was resting on the road near the front of the Gulf fuel station.
The BMW passenger suffered a head injury and was transferred to Jersey Shore Medical Center and released.
The BMW’s driving force suffered minor injuries and was transported to Monmouth Medical Center in Lakewood and released.
This investigation into the car turn of fate is ongoing.
