Jeep driver hurt after crashing into Fort Lauderdale Airbnb

FORT LAUDERDALE – The driver of a Jeep was injured after she wasted her vehicle Monday and crashed into a Fort Lauderdale home that was used as an Airbnb, the government said.

The woman, who has not been identified, is in serious condition and appears unconscious and subconscious as a result of the crash at the house located in the 2300 block of SW 36th Avenue.

Bill Crowley saw a neon-colored jeep drive by his house Monday morning. Then he heard a loud crash. . . and a boom.

When he came out of his home, he saw a sight hard to believe.

The driver crashed into his jeep while crossing the neighboring house.

The commotion had begun seconds earlier when firefighters said the driver walked out of his home down the block, crashed into his neighbor’s fence and smashed a paint truck.

She accelerated, lost her jeep on a curve and crashed into the house.

Owner Jhonny Ahrma says the tenants left on Sunday.

“Thank God there’s no one inside. We will fix the challenge and move forward,” Ahrma said.

Police are reconstructing the twist of fate and will do so if the driver is summoned.
