The JD Power guys are back with another deep dive into the market. The last review they published examined the top five premium compact cars 2020 and, unexpectedly or not, the BMW 3 Series included in the list of the most productive in visitor satisfaction. Paintings made through JD Power surveyed buyers after their first 90 days of ownership and here are the results.

According to JD Power’s APEAL (Performance, Execution and Automotive Design) study, which measures overall vehicle satisfaction, the BMW 3 Series is one of the most satisfying cars you can get today. The first position was for the Genesis G70 2020, seeing the emerging Korean star for all its hard paints to challenge long-standing German car manufacturers. Genesis scored 869 impressive points, beating the BMW 3 Series in the process.

The BMW scored 867 points, so we can say that the G70’s victory was marginal. At the same time, Series 3 controlled to win the Lexus IS and the Mercedes-Benz C-Class 2020, in fact, both were tied for third place. It’s a feature for the Lexus, because it’s by far the oldest car. This year, the IS is being updated, however, the exam covered the previous version. Both models scored 861 points.

Reaching number four and an older model, the BMW Series Four will be released this year. The fact that he achieved this record (859 points) is impressive given his age. Finally, the Volvo S60 came fifth with 858 points. Overall, BMW is the only manufacturer here to have two names on the list, proving that the Bavarian automaker knows its consumers more than anyone else.
