If you’ve ever wanted to see the Barbie of your dreams come true, now’s your chance.
A traditional pink Barbie Jeep will go on sale in Edmonton later this month.
This car is one of more than 15,000 devices that will be offered in an upcoming auction through Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers.
“It’s rare for us,” said Lyall Megaw of Ritchie Bros.
“It’s attention-grabbing, it stands out from the crowd,” said Kelley Prymych, the Jeep’s owner.
Prymych has been bringing a spin to pop culture since 2017. In addition to the Jeep, he also created the Lightning McQueen and Tow Mater cars from the Pixar film Cars.

The 2006 Jeep Liberty, with hand-painted graphics, was built by Prymych’s father and lasted about a month.
“I can’t take credit for this,” Prymych said. “But yes, he did a great job. “
Creating fantastic attractions is a form of treatment for Prymych and he loves to see the reactions they provoke.
“Every user who walks by you breaks their neck. They’re chasing you, and that’s anything that makes you feel smart inside,” he added.
As much as he loves the Jeep and drives it, Prymych said it’s time to say goodbye.
“I get a lot of weird looks, but I like this car. But I have to give this one up in order to create one,” he said.
It doesn’t matter what the advertising value is, he added, as long as it goes to who will appreciate it.
“Even if they don’t like Barbie, but they have their daughter or their niece, or even their nephew, I’d like her to pass on to a circle of relatives who would like to drive her around. “
The auction will take place over five days, with live bidding on Nisku. For more information, visit the Ritchie Bros. website.
