An urban explorer has taken his enthusiasts to a deserted dealership with iconic French cars still gathering dust in its showroom.
The adventurer, who goes by the name The Bearded Explorer (TBE), took his YouTube enthusiasts on a tour of the spooky site.
As it turns out, the gigantic garage complex in a remote domain in the French countryside has been abandoned for years.
Old engines strewn around the property, some rusting outside.
There’s everything from sedans to hatchbacks to vans, almost all sourced from Peugeot.
Some models are even available in the UK, according to TBE.
Many were covered in dirt and mold, as were damaged windows after being gutted by scrap dealers.
Inside, however, some still gave the impression of being in pristine condition, with new paint like the one found in the showroom.
TBE said: “I just hit the jackpot.
“Look at the cars, oh my God.
“It’s crazy.
“It’s all there.
“It’s like traveling back in time. “
Then he discovered a deserted workshop, with spare equipment and tires strewn on the floor and a fax machine on one side.
From there, we made our way to a garage covered in shelves filled with spare alloys, brake lights, and wires, all in mint factory condition.
Upstairs is another demo area with some engines still bearing the original sales tags.
In addition, TBE entered the adjacent area containing decades-old documents, all scattered on the desks.
Social media commenters heard about the discovery.
Someone wrote, “I don’t understand how you leave those positions for years or even decades. “
Another added: “It’s paradise for me, who loves Peugeots from the ’70s, ’80s and ’90s. “
And a third exclaimed, “What a common finding. “
This comes after we gave readers a glimpse inside a deserted petrol station next to a major British motorway, complete with a “UFO tower”.
