“He drove about a metre in front of Pickett,” Nick Riewoldt of St Kilda said on Fox Footy.

Melbourne champion Garry Lyon added: “Essentially, any off-limit kick between the arches will be paid for.
“The referee has to be a smart judgment about football’s ability because players can’t bend the ball like that, so he felt that’s exactly what he meant.”
