Isuzu Australia Limited celebrated its 36th year in the most sensible of its game, which led to truck sales count for 2024, with one of its most powerful effects of 13,402 trucks sold.
This comes from the back of the sales record of all time for the Australian truck market in 2024; Where 51,277 heavy cars, 3520 more than last year were delivered.
There is a strong general expansion in the middle and heavy segments, while the soft service failed to achieve the effects of 2023.
Isuzu was able to capture an incredible 26.1 per cent market share of those total heavy vehicle sales.
“Importantly for our industry, it’s heartening to see the Australian truck market in such a strong position, following yet another record annual sales result,” said IAL Chief of Sales and Aftersales, Ben Lasry.
“This is the first time the Australian truck market has broken through the 50,000-unit mark, which is a noteworthy achievement for the industry at large.”
Ben said the brand is pleased to have finished on top again in 2024, and to have performed well across all market segments and weight categories.

For 2024, Isuzu achieved the number one spot in the light-duty segment, with 6805 sales, equating to a market share of 46.7 per cent.
Isuzu also reached the first position in the average service, promoting 4,116 cars for a large percentage of 50. 6%market postposition.
In the heavy segment, Isuzu received third place, with a market percentage forward step forward of 14. 5%.
Reflecting on both industry and Isuzu sales achievements, IAL Head of Sales, Craig White, said the brand is thrilled with the results and looking forward to an exciting and challenging 2025.
“From an industry perspective, I think last year’s results certainly exceeded the expectations of many, so it’s fantastic to see genuine and sustained strength in our sector,” he said.
“As we all know, 2025 is an election year at the federal level, which can bring some uncertainty and, as an industry, we want to be ready for that.
