The Georgia State Patrol met the victim of a fatal crash Monday afternoon in Hall County as a Gainesville man.
A press release states that 46-year-old Marshall Thomas was riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle on Lula Road westbound just before 6:00 p. m. m. when he tried to negotiate a curve near Breezy Drive and went off the road. Investigators say the motorcycle crashed into a culvert. sending him and Thomas flying through the air toward a nearby signal, before crashing into a tree on the side of the road.
GSP says other protection officers rushed to the scene and EMS crews transported Thomas from the crash site to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
