Jaguar Land Rover released two separate reminders that impacted 4 of its models in the United States. Although those two reminders are linked, they can work the rearview camera demonstration, which means they meet federal protective vehicle protection standards.
On January 16, both withdrawals were issued. Until June 28, 2024 and 2023, Range Rover is written from March 22, 2023 to March 23, 2023.

The British brand has identified an issue in vehicles equipped with a 10-inch infotainment display, where a timing mismatch in the screen’s software can cause the touch screen to go blank upon startup. If the screen fails, the rearview camera becomes useless, potentially increasing the risk of an accident.
JLR has first become aware of a prospective factor in March and investigated it for several months, before the final of the case in June after discovering that he did not want to be fixed. However, in October, the investigation was restarted after JLR won other box reports similar to him. In total, the company won 1,025 claims and reports of boxes in the United States.
Impacted will be alerted to the retirement of March 14, 2025, and the dealers will have to update the information and entertainment software for free.

The second recall is specifically for 2019-2020 Jaguar XE models built from June 18, 2018, to September 10, 2020. In this case, damaged wiring in the sedan’s trunk could cause the rearview camera to only work intermittently or permanently fail. JLR has received 5 claims and field reports, but is not aware of any accidents, injuries, or fires.
As with the first recall, impacted owners will be notified before March 14, 2025. Dealers will inspect the camera cable and repair or replace it if necessary.
