Intelligent Car Leasing is launching a new service, called Sell My Car, with Motorway to allow consumers to sell existing cars before renting a new one.
Cars will be sold online via Motorway, which has agreements with many of the UK’s largest car buying sites and groups of online brokers.
The function to sell a road car is also available on the Intelligent Car Leasing website. Users who wish to access the car sales service go to the highway site where they can obtain a non-binding assessment of their existing vehicle.
Marc Murphy, head of marketing and sales at Intelligent Car Leasing, said: “Commercial homeowners who transfer assets to rent sell or dispose of their old car or van. However, they might not get the most productive treatment for their used vehicles. Now that the blockade has eased, companies can start to recover and may not have time to look for all the most productive offers.
“By partnering with Highway, we’ll speed up the transition to advertising leasing, especially for small business owners. Help them get rid of their old cars with the most productive value and turn them into a new vehicle tailored to their business needs.”
Alex Buttle, director and co-founder of Motorway, said he was “delighted” with his spouse with Intelligent Car Leasing to help consumers sell their vehicles.
“Our shared vision of usability, visitor delight and continuous value-added expansion gives the association the impression that it fits perfectly.”
Intelligent Car Leasing was founded in 2013 and is a department of Fleet Alliance Group, which manages more than 37,000 cars with a total fleet price of more than 1 billion pounds on behalf of its customers.
