INFINITI takes the QX80 to the skies in an elevator – thousands of hours and parts

INFINITI unveiled its all-new 2025 INFINITI QX80 at Edge, Hudson Yards, the tallest terrace in the Western Hemisphere. It took 40 days, 4300 hours of work, and approximately one hundred elevator rides to bring the full-size luxury SUV to the Edge. .

The stakes were high. And this revelation is a feat like no other. The solution? Disassembling the vehicle into thousands of parts, removing the engine and fuel formulas and cutting it exactly into modular parts, then reassembling the new QX80. It also required engineering as opposed to the electrical formula to force the interior, adding the seats, lighting, and Klipsch sound formula. Oh, and make everything small enough to have compatibility in elevators and hallways. The final product, so well executed that even INFINITI’s lead designer couldn’t figure out that the QX80 had been taken apart.

Hundreds of team members were involved in the development, planning and execution, adding strong partners from GLS Worldwide and PublicisQ.

INFINITI’s new flagship is the ultimate expression of ambitious design, never-before-seen technologies and detailed craftsmanship. It will hit stores later this summer. Customers interested in learning more about the all-new 2025 INFINITI QX80 can visit www. new- QX80. com.
