A new QX80 is expected in 2023.
Infiniti’s product portfolio is undergoing a transformation that will see greater collaboration with Nissan’s mass market logo.
The Japanese luxury line will launch five cars internationally over the next 3 years, with long-lasting Infiniti models on a giant car “enterprise” platform to be shared with Nissan cars. This new platform will supply all-electric hybrid propulsion systems for Infiniti.
Infiniti’s product restart comes at a time when your U.S. company is struggling with a multi-year sales drop. Sales in the United States fell 21% last year, before the coronavirus stopped, while struggling with one of the oldest product portfolios in the industry.
As a component of the redesign, Infiniti’s coupe and rear-wheel drive sedans will be transferred to a Nissan platform, in all likelihood from the Altima or Maxima sedans, which supports the company’s e-Power hybrid configuration. Infiniti’s first electricity supply will arrive in the United States around 2023.
“We’ll bring Infiniti back as Nissan-plus, in terms of technologies,” Ashwani Gupta, chief operating officer of Nissan Motor Co., told Automotive News this year.
Q50: Infiniti’s bulky sedan will be redesigned in 2023. The next-generation Q50 will be transferred to an electrified platform at the Qs Inspiration, which debuted at the 2019 Shanghai Motor Show. The review will feature Nissan’s e-Power series hybrid technology, which relies on a gasoline engine to qualify a lithium-ion battery that powers the vehicle. Infiniti’s e-Power edition can use a variant of the QX50’s VC-Turbo engine.
The Q60 sports coupe can be suspended in 2023.
Q60: The low-volume two-door sports coupe may be suspended in 2023.
QX30: A repositioning of the abandoned compact crossover is imaginable in early 2025. Unlike the previous QX30, which shared a platform with the Mercedes-Benz GLA crossover, the reincarnation will take position on the CMF platform developed through Renault-Nissan. You can propose a variant of e-Power. The QX30 was discontinued after the 2019 style year.
QX50: the redesigned crossover in late 2017 as a 2019 style with a turbo variable compression engine. A snack arrives in 2022, and a review is still in a few years, perhaps at the time of 2024. This new generation will offer the e-Power, or even an electric battery variant.
QX55: A cut edition of the QX50 scheduled for the time of 2020, but delayed until early next year due to the coronavirus pandemic. The QX55 will have a similar powertrain and feature an inclined roof line encouraged through the first generation FX functionality crossover. While the new crossover stores design elements with the QX50, the front is another and features a new grid design. Look for a snack in 2024.
QX60: The three-row midrange crossover will be redesigned to succeed in showrooms by the time of 2021, achieving a more subtle look. The gas style will acquire an “athletic appearance,” according to a fountain, with a giant grille, an incredibly sumptuous interior, two 12.3-inch screens and a two-tone ceiling. A snack will be maintained in 2025.
QX80: The giant SUV has been revamped for the 2018-style year, with a giant, wider front and deeper frame contours, and then incorporated Infiniti’s dual-screen infotainment formula by 2020. A redesigned QX80 is expected to arrive in the showrooms in 2023.
