Marilane Carter last noticed it through his circle of relatives on August 1, the night he left his home in Overland Park, a suburb of Kansas City. Surveillance footage was placed in a hotel in West Plains, Missouri, the night after her departure, where she stayed about 3 hours before leaving.
She was in Memphis domain when she last spoke to her husband in Overland Park and then to her mother in Birmingham, Alabama, 15 minutes later, before her phone was cut off. Investigators traced his most recent ping on his mobile phone near the Arkansas-Tennessee border, a few miles from the Mississippi River.
He is said to have left Kansas to seek an intellectual fitness remedy in Birmingham and be close to his family.
Officers from the Crittenden County Sheriff’s Office in Arkansas searched under the bridge and levees of I-55, but did not discover symptoms of Marilane Cater or his 2011 gray Acadia GMC, according to WMC. Police also conducted an aerial search within a four-mile radius of where his mobile phone last rang, AL.com reported.
Wednesday’s latest update on the Find Marilane Facebook page said Bass Pro Shops at the Pyramid would offer volunteer navigators after “law enforcement search and rescue groups have indicated that lately they cannot search the MS River near Marilane’s latest cell phone ping.

Hundreds of flyers were placed Wednesday in West Memphis, the Ark and the Memphis area, and truck corporations agreed to deliver fliers to their drivers for vigilant. The message also asked others to send leaflets to the local police to spread the message.
