Impatient BMW driver is pulled through a double-decker bus as he entered the bus lane

NEWS. . . BUT NOT AS YOU KNOW IT

Dashcam footage captured the moment a double-decker collided with a BMW that stopped in a bus lane while queuing amid heavy traffic.

Three other people, a woman, a teenager and a child, avoided serious injury in the crash in Small Heath, Birmingham, on Wednesday morning.

No one else was injured, the BMW crashed into 3 other cars.

Social media users are wondering who it was: many blame the driver of the BMW, while others believe the bus gave the impression of going too fast.

A commenter on the footage, received via the Birmz Is Grime blog, said: “The cars are 100 per cent to blame, they shouldn’t have stopped in that lane. But why is the bus traveling at this speed in the first place? »

Another said: “Even though it looks like the bus is going fast, it’s the fault of the drivers who were getting into the bus lane, right?

A third wrote: “Well, then a car in the bus lane, that’s serious. How come the bus driver didn’t see the car??!!The most sensible thing is that the bus was going too fast. “

Another: “How does the bus move as if there are no cars in the lane?Even if it’s in their lane, you can’t just run over the car. “

One of them added: “The driver of the Beemer wants to check the mirrors. “

A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “We were to report a multi-vehicle collision on the Small Heath Highway at 3. 40pm on Wednesday.

“An ambulance and a paramedic were dispatched to the scene where, upon arrival, crews discovered that a bus and four cars had been involved in a collision.

“There were 3 patients: a woman, a teenager and a child.

“All were evaluated by the ambulance but did not require hospital treatment. So they got the self-care recommendation and were discharged on the spot. “

West Midlands Police showed officers were called but there were no arrests or serious injuries.
