The BEV market is growing, with primary automakers such as BMW and Mercedes starting to introduce an increasing number of electric battery cars to the market, along with primary BEV corporations such as Tesla and Toyota. THE FCVVs, on the other hand, are still in the demonstration stage.
In April 2019, Daimler took a step back from the progression of GLC F-Cell, after many years of research on mobile fuel technologies. In addition to this decision, Daimler absolutely did not abandon the hydrogen powertrain, but focused basically on another application. In fact, a partnership with Volvo to expand heavy-fuel mobile cars is likely to begin in September 2020, establishing a new bankruptcy for hydrogen technologies.
