ID Volkswagen. Buzz Electric Van Buzzy after advertised price

The U.S. version of Volkswagen’s electrified classic Type 2 van is priced and ready for its North American arrival later this year. The 2025 ID. Buzz is a two-tone seven-seat minivan with as much as 234 miles of range on a single charge. It was first revealed in 2023 to much fanfare.

Last week the all-electric van—the first electric minivan—revealed its pricing plan for the U.S. version after the European release with a shorter wheelbase.

There’s different pricing (which doesn’t include a $1,550 destination fee) for each of the three trims available at launch:

This is the base with rear traction and 234 miles. The bank has for a row for seven passengers.

The Media Counter Edition with rear- or all-wheel-drive features offers a panoramic electrochromic glass roof ($1,495) and optional rear captain’s chairs with seating for six. With AWD editions, the falls to 231 miles.

Available at the launch, the special edition has two -colored paint and internal dunes with RWD bank seats or traction captain chairs. The wise glass roof is included with the Harman Kardon formula and the badges of the first edition.

Looking at other mini death, the identifier. The hum is superior to begin, however, the only other electrified option is the rechargeable hybrid of Pacifica Chrysler with only 32 miles of natural electrical range. Chrysler with a battery is approximately $ 52,000 to start. The other non-electric mini-women come with the Honda Odyssey that start around $ 38,000, Kia Carnival around $ 34,000 and the Toyota Sienna ($ 38,000). Pacifica Hybrid is eligible for $ 7,500 in federal tax credits. The buzzing occurs in Germany and does not qualify according to its production location.

The American prize should be in this range, but reduces the component of emotion around the first electric mini-Calibre. With the upper value and inelegability for federal subsidies, E-VAN is less available for families and buyers of more involved trucks with the budget.
