Hyundai has issued a recall for the Verna IVT following an oil pump controller (EOP) error.
According to Hyundai, a recall has been issued to compare and correct the error in the electronic oil pump controller. However, the automaker has not disclosed the exact number of cars affected by this issue.
Hyundai has pleaded with affected car owners to have their cars inspected at their nearest legal dealership. Owners can check if their Verna IVT is among those recalled by entering the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) into the Hyundai India official. The rectification of the challenge will be made free of charge.
Hyundai also recalled the Creta IVT pre-facelift, which faces a factor with the electronic oil pump.
