Organised through the International Design Forum in Germany, the iF Design Award is one of the three most sensible design competitions in the world, along with the Red Dot Design Award in Germany and the International Design Excellence Awards (IDEA) in the United States.

The festival evaluates the uniqueness and influence of design in disciplines: product design, packaging design, communications design, interior design, professional design, service design, architecture, user experience (UX) and user interface (UI). HYUNDAI TRANSYS has gained popularity abroad for its cutting-edge design for long-term mobility with a double victory with its Urban Air Mobility (UAM) cabin concept and its Future Mobility Concept seat in the Professional Concept discipline.

HYUNDAI TRANSYS’ UAM cabin concept is notable because it is the first time that a Korean auto parts manufacturer has received an award for proposing a space solution for the UAM in the long term.

This concept includes state-of-the-art features such as folding seats (allowing for simple forward and backward conversion), narrow seat design (lightweight, taut with exposed frames), privacy screen (using translucent panels), and maximized (optimized) luggage area. under-seat garage with bench-style cushion).
