Hyundai Motor wins six GOOD DESIGN AWARDS 2023, the fourth global design award for the N Vision 74

 

Hyundai Motor Company has once again been recognized for its competitiveness in cutting-edge design by winning six top honors at the 2023 GOOD DESIGN Awards in the United States, adding four in the Transportation category and two in the Interactive Media category. In particular, Hyundai’s N Vision. 74 “rolling laboratory” won a “grand slam” at the World Design Awards.

In particular, the high-performance hydrogen hybrid “lab on wheels” N Vision achieved great success by winning the world’s top 4 design awards (iF, IDEA, Red Dot, GOOD DESIGN) with this award.

N Vision 74 is part of Hyundai Motor’s legacy communication efforts that seek to locate the vision of the future through the ambitious spirit of Korea’s first independently evolving sports car prototype, the “Pony Coupe Concept,” introduced in 1974.

IONIQ 6 has turned heads with its sleek exterior and interior design. With a sleek design that minimizes wind resistance, the all-electric vehicle achieved the drag coefficient (Cd) of 0. 21 among any Hyundai Motor vehicle, combining sensitivity and efficiency.

Grandeur stood out for its complex design that reinterprets the traditional designs of previous models. With futuristic exterior styling and an interior that maximizes comfort and luxury, it embodies the symbol of Hyundai Motor’s flagship sedan.

Kona features an avant-garde symbol unique to electric cars, while inheriting existing iconic design elements. The seamless horizon lamp that stretches across the front, prominent surfaces and white lines harmonize to emphasize elegance.

Hyundai also won awards in the Interactive Media category with the “Seon” infotainment system, the Navigation Cockpit (ccNC) integrated infotainment system and “Hyundai Sans UI,” the exclusive mobility policy.

‘Seon’ is a new design theme applied to the next-generation integrated infotainment system, first introduced in the new Grandeur. It completes a differentiated graphic design that uses linear elements, such as straight lines and ovals, that can be seen in daily life to convey a familiar and comfortable feeling.

“Hyundai Sans UI” is Hyundai Motor’s first exclusive mobility policy, implemented in the infotainment formula of each and every Hyundai style implemented through ccNC. It helps complete the infotainment formula by offering consistent readability in any outdoor environment through a concord. with soft curves and subtle straight lines.
