SEOUL (Reuters) – South Korean automaker Hyundai Motor is promoting its plant in Russia for the symbolic sum of 7,000 rubles ($77. 67), a corporate official said on Tuesday.
Hyundai Motor said in a regulatory filing that it would incur a loss of 287 billion won ($219. 19 million) from the sale of the plant, which has suspended operations since March 2022.
The automaker said in a statement that it is lately making final arrangements with Russia’s Art-Finance to strike a deal.
