Designed to monitor front and rear seat occupants, the formula targets injuries through driver and passenger alerts to prospective protective risks.
The ICM generation uses cameras to detect the posture, movements and biological cues of vehicle occupants in real time.
The system’s software logic analyzes this knowledge to identify potential hazards and problems with audible and visual warnings.
Hyundai Mobis says that the ICM formula is capable of addressing more than ten situations, including driving drowsiness, mobile phones and ensuring that children are safe and constant in the seats of their cars.
Hyundai Mobis plans to start taking orders for the ICM from global consumers this year.

The formula has obtained the ASPICE certification, European for automotive software, and has exceeded the objectives set in the New Vehicle Assessment Program (NCAP), the company said.
Hyundai said it has focused on the logic of the software while developing its in-cabin tracking system.
This year, the firm aims to improve healthcare features for analysing driver bio-signals and accelerate the development of a next-generation 2.0 version designed for commercial fleet services.
Shin Kyu-Chul, head of the Hyundai Mobis electronic orders progression group, said: “With progress in automatic driving technology, request convenience characteristics and protection technologies on board considerably.
“Hyundai Mobis will concentrate on the development of very exact software capable of analyzing other physical structures of passengers. “
Earlier this month, Hyundai Mobis unveiled it claimed to be the “world’s first” full-windshield holographic display at CES 2025 in Las Vegas.
Developed together with the German optical company Carl Zeiss, the generation is designed to allow drivers and passengers to access essential information through the windshield.
