Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America, LLC is running throughout the Georgia Ministry of Labor to protect its large workforce. More than 8,000 job openings will open up in the coming years, but there are now more than a dozen, adding Global Trade Manager, Deputy Manager for Purchasing Management and Treasury Manager.
Jennifer Loy, manager of the traditional recruiting team in GDOL’s business unit, said her team is excited to help the automaker build a strong workforce.
“Our unit has such a large team of other committed people who work tirelessly from the beginning of the process, from the beginning of the structure to the opening of the company,” Loy said. “It’s rewarding to look back and see the company thrive and thrive and know we’re a part of it. “

All posted positions are up to date and Loy said the timeline for filling the position is different.
“We get new Hyundai positions as they become available, and we eliminate positions as they fill up, so we never hire for a position that isn’t vacant,” Loy said. “And as far as I know, we are the only source of recruitment for them. “
Hyundai offers a competitive salary and relocation package. “We don’t have the starting salary yet, but Hyundai is confident that the starting salary is above average and very competitive for the region,” Loy said.
Loy said they haven’t faced demanding situations yet because they’re focusing on all 8,000 jobs at once. Out-of-state people have expressed interest in the posted positions, but Loy said most applicants are from the Savannah area.
“I think part of this is because they’re new to the region,” Loy said. “There’s a lot of press about it right now, so they’re getting a lot of local attention. In much more media attention and news will spread and other people will come to us from further away as well.
