Hyundai’s electric SUV gives a smart first impression, but it’s cheap.
Hyundai launches its own compromised electric car logo called Ioniq.
The move is part of the brand’s ambitious plan to build 3 new all-electric models until 2025.
Hyundai has introduced the self-driving car brand Ioniq, which will have 3 models until 2025.
Initially, the independent Ioniq logo can be confusing because Hyundai already sells a car called Ioniq in Australia.
The existing Ioniq, sold as a hybrid, plug-in hybrid and electric car, will remain rated Hyundai and will be a component of the new exclusively electric logo.
Hyundai is already a leader in cars in Australia, as it also sells the Kona SUV.

The first vehicle to feature the new logo will be the Ioniq five SUV next year.
The Ioniq five is in the EV forty-five concept presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show last year. Designed to evoke memories of a forty-five-year-old Hyundai showroom, the new concept features an underground battery pack and a flat-field cab.
It will be followed through the Ioniq 6 sedan in 2022, in this year’s EV Prophecy concept.

Prophecy’s sublime and curved concept consists of smooth lines. It has a short front finish compared to other electric cars such as the Tesla Model 3 and Porsche Taycan, which take credit for the stored area thanks to the absence of a fossil fuel engine and related parts.
The last piece of the puzzle is the giant Ioniq 7 SUV, which will arrive in 2024.
The 3 cars will be built on a modular platform that will be designed to maximize interior space, fast charging functions and long range.
The 2020 Hyundai Ioniq is one of the customer electric cars available lately.
Hyundai believes the Ioniq logo will help it achieve its ambitious plan to sell one million battery-powered cars through 2025, a sufficient 10% share of global demand.
It also aims to be the third largest manufacturer of eco-friendly cars until 2025.
