The year 2020 marks a decade, more or less, of electric cars of customers on our roads, and looking for what is coming in the market for the next twelve months, it is prudent to say that this year is mainly for the electric change. the industry intends to do so for the next 10 years.
As we move towards a long series of endless possibilities, plug-in hybrid and hybrid offerings are still with us, of course, but until 2020, the big attractions, the big ones that are attracting attention, are all-electric vehicles.
So we’re back for the fourth year in a row with our Electric and Hybrid Car Guide, which we first produced in 2017. And while most of the models we’ve talked about in the afterlife are still in place, some are disappearing, while others are on the horizon.
Of course, the marketing of these greener cars also goes hand in hand with government incentive programmes; Canada has had its federal program in operation since May 2019, while British Columbia and Quebec continue to offer discounts on the purchase or rental of plug-in electric or hybrid cars.

Audi
Last year we were talking about the arrival of the German brand’s first electric application vehicle. By 2020, Audi adds a Sportback variant to the equation, a style that for a small shipping area in exchange for a more aerodynamic silhouette.
Perhaps most exciting is the brand’s stated purpose of adding a super sedan encouraged through the e-tron-GT prototype to its range. This car would gain advantages from the progression of the Porsche Taycan for any of its variants.
