Hundreds of other people with no strength after a truck hits a power pole in Paso Robles

California Highway Patrol is responding to a crash that happened early Tuesday morning in Paso Robles.

According to CHP, a cement truck crashed into a power pole, knocking down the pole and causing power lines to fall.

The turn of fate occurred at approximately 0755 in the 5600 block of Ground Squirrel Hollow Road.

CHP is running to close the road as the crews respond and the paintings leave the destination site turn blank.

Nearly 700 GMP consumers in the region were underpowered Tuesday morning. According to PG-E, the teams are on the scene and expect the force to be restored until 11 a.m.
