HPC investigates fatal motorcycle crash in South Bakersfield

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash that killed at least one motorcyclist when he crashed into a tree Friday night on South Union Avenue, according to the CHP website.

The events occurred around 7:47 p. m. on South Union Avenue and Di Giorgio Road when a motorcyclist crashed into a tree. At least one lane is blocked in the area.

The motorcycle and the tree would have caught fire. At the moment the cause of the twist of fate is unknown.
