As Ted7’s photo revenue stream grew, so did his paintings at his “real job”: a search engine optimization expert. After 18 months, he was able to leave global search engine optimization and concentrate solely on car photography. It was 12 years ago, with brands such as Vorsteiner and HRE Wheels, Evan Paul Motorautomobiles, GMG Racing and Ring Brothers among its first customers. His later paintings include photographs of vehicles for the Wall Street Journal and the Petersen Automotive Museum, where he took his first steps in the study of the automobile. photography.

The Petersen has a domain called “the cove” with a white background and controlled lighting. Ted7 first photographed a bunch of museum cars in the creek, and soon began renting them out to his own clients who were looking for studio photographs. Petersen, between 2017 and 2021, included photographs for Gunther Werks and auto dealers in Beverly Hills and Malibu. This experience convinced Ted7 to join LongTail Rally (of which he is the official photographer) to build his own studio, which he opened in Orange. County in June 2021.
