Horrible semi-truck moment causes 11-vehicle accident

One father died and three other people were hospitalized this week after a huge truck caused a collision with nine cars along a California highway.

The California Highway Patrol demonstrated Tuesday that a terrible turn of fate occurred at 5:40 p. m. on Interstate Five in south Sacramento.

This would result in the death of Joel Broussard, a 39-year-old father and former mayor candidate for the closure of the city of Elk Grove.

“I’m the last user he spoke to,” said his mother Irma Brousssard. It just made me think about what was in his head when that truck hit him from behind. It’s my baby.

On Tuesday, an orange van rolled down Interstate five and caused an 11-vehicle collision that killed one guy and sent three other people to the hospital.

The force of movement brings the black BMW closer to the car, while the semi-trailer continues to cross other vehicles.

The back of the van ends with a red Chrysler, which crashes and sinks into cars on the road.

One by one, the cars collide until a silver Ford falls to the side and acts as an impromptu blockage for the semi-trailer.

The California Highway Patrol closed Interstate Five southbound on Florin Road to allow officials to proceed and leave the scene blank later, KCRA reports.

The truck collided with several vehicles, a red Chrysler (center) belonging to Joel Broussard.

Authorities are investigating the case, but alcohol or drugs were not involved in the tragic incident.

Investigators don’t know that drugs and alcohol were a thing in the accident, however, they continue to find out why the truck didn’t slow down.

Authorities interviewed witnesses and spent several hours completing reconstruction paintings at the site of the destination turn.

Broussard, the driving force of the red Chrysler, declared dead at the scene.
