American Heritage Schools, in partnership with the Lighthouse of Broward, presents its fourth annual Heroes event, a fundraising concert and auction benefiting the blind and visually impaired in Broward County, at the American Heritage Schools Center for the Arts Auditorium on Saturday, May 4. From five o’clock in the afternoon to 8 p. m. The occasion will be a speakeasy-themed party featuring singer Mitch Franco.
Broward Lighthouse is the only private, nonprofit organization in Broward County that provides comprehensive education, rehabilitation, and counseling services to blind and visually impaired youth and adults. Through its work, Broward Lighthouse improves the lives of other blind and partially sighted people in Broward County and enables them to live independent, healthy, professional, and fulfilling lives. All proceeds from the concert and the auction for profits will allow the Broward Lighthouse to continue to provide important facilities to more than 2,590 Broward County people each year.
Attendees can enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres throughout the evening and participate in a live silent auction that will reap benefits at the Broward Lighthouse. Guests are encouraged to come dressed in their most productive attire from the 20s.
The title sponsor of this year’s occasion is American Heritage Schools. Gunther Motors is the gold sponsor. Bronze sponsors include Centennial Bank, Memorial Health System, Miller Construction, Jaguar Land Rover West Broward and McCullough.
The price is $25 per person, which includes admission, hors d’oeuvres, and open bar.
